Carriage whip made of wood covered in woven leather that has been painted black. There are three wide, flat metal bands wrapped equal distance around whip, including at bottom for handle. At top, white woven leather tapers to whip. White string is tied around the whip near the top.

Wooden spinning wheel. Very large fly wheel at one end attached by a turned post to a long narrow base mounted on top of four peg legs. At opposite end of fly wheel is a large turned upright post. At bottom of this post are screw-like wooden poles that adjust the tension on the wheel. Inserted into this is a round wooden dowel with two upright turned screws (also called maidens) for tightening the bobbin at center. Old label at center of this has deteriorated and is no longer readable.

Round, dark wood wheel with turned wood spokes. Wheel is attached on both sides to rectangular wood base. Bobbin mounts and fixtures at center of base. Distaff arm opposite of wheel. Three legs attached to the bottom of the base. Broken treadle loosely attached to legs, and missing a piece.
