Human hair wreath in round wooden shadowbox type frame. Outer wreath with inner heart shaped piece. Wreath is made of varying shades of human hair molded into flowers. Some gold bead detailing. Frame has two inner circles of gold.

Roller to butter worker. Looks like an oversized rolling pin with one flat side. Small piece of wood on one end rests inside hole on end of butter worker. Turned handle.

Butter worker of wood and metal. Rectangular wooden frame with two metal tracks attached to the sides. A large lobed roller ran on these two tracks. Attached to roller is a hand crank with a turned wooden handle. Short legs on one side allowed water to drain out hole in back. Written along side: "PAT. MARCH 23 1875". Attached metal handles on opposite ends have an ornate leaf design. Used for working water out of butter.

Wooden wool winder with square base. Attached to base on a diagonal are two reels, one above the other. The top reel is attached to an adjustable plank of wood that moves up and down the winder. Used to wind wool thread/yarn.

Pen wiper made of black fabric, possibly felt. Circular shape with black petal design. "Petals" are trimmed in alternating red and tan stitching. Attached to bottom is an additional circular piece of black fabric with a serrated edge. At center is a black covered button holding all pieces together.

Pen wiper made of black velvet. Butterfly shape decorated with alternating red, tan and orange stitching on wings. At center is an attached stuffed "butterfly body" of black velvet wrapped in one thin strand of orange thread. One small black feather protrudes from top of body.

Off-white cotton canvas water wings (floatation device). Reed and wood inflation device. Text reads: "AYVAD'S/ WATER-WINGS/REG. US.S PAT. OFF./AYVAD PATENTS & TRADE MARKS/WATER-WINGS/are all made one size, guaran-/teed to support 50 to 250lbs. on cor-/rect level to float. A large body requires/less air than a smaller one; therefore, the/wings are made purposely porous so/that it should leak a little to adjust itself/properly. Enough air always/remains in the wings". Washing instructions and further product information included on each wing.

Wooden winnower, painted red. At proper right is a large wood interior fan used to generate a draft. The original crank used to turn the fan is missing. On the opposite side of the machine is a large hand crank used to agitate two interior trays with wire mesh. Only one of these trays still has the mesh. At bottom left is a small drawer with round wooden pull. Has matching lid for top of object. The object was used to separate grain from chaffe.
