Partially colored map of Tiverton on paper. This one page was originally in the "Atlas of the State of Rhode Island" by D.G. Beers & Co. Map includes the eleven town districts. At proper right are close-up maps of Stone Bridge and Tiverton Four Corners. In upper proper left corner: "TIVERTON/Newport Co R.I./Scale 1 1/2 Inches to the Mile" and above this is "101". Stamped on back in red: "WE CAN FURNISH A SUITABLE/FRAME FOR THE MAP $3.50/EVERETT HALL WHITLOCK/New Haven, Connecticut".

Printed reproduction of a 1777 topographical map of the Narragansett Bay. At top center is a drawn piece of parchment that reads: "A Topographical CHART of the/BAY of NARRAGANSET in the Province of NEW ENGLAND/with all the Isles contained therein, among which/RHODE ISLAND and CONNONICUT/have been particularly SURVEYED/Shewing the true pofition & bearings of the Banks, Shoals, Rocks & as likewise the Soundings/Two which have been added the feveral Works & Batteries raised by the Americans/Taken by Order of the PRINCIPAL FARMERS on Rhode Island/By CHARLES BLASKOWITZ/ Engraved & Printed for Wm. Faden, Charings Crofs, as the Act directs July 22, 1777." Along proper left is a "Reference to the BATTERIES", a list of Principal Farms in Rhode Island and an elaborately scripted note from the artist to the "Lieutenant General of his Majesty's Forces". At lower proper left outside of black border: "This is number 66 of an edition limited to 500 numbered copies."
