Oil on canvas portrait of Sarah Soule Wilbour in an oval gold frame. Plaque with her name and dates at bottom center of frame. She is seated in a black dress with a white lace collar. She has on a white bonnet that ties under her chin. Written on back of canvas: "Sarah Soule Wilbour (1804-1891). She was the mother of Charles Edwin Wilbour and the town's first women's rights supporter. She was also town historian.
