Oak table, medium brown in color. Square top constructed of four planks with beveled edge. Four turned wood legs set at a slight angle. Legs connected on two sides by a straight bar with a carved scroll design. Square-shaped brace connecting all legs just above ball feet. Queen Anne round tea table made of maple. Table top has been repaired. Purchased in 1960 by a group of friends Susan Burchard Shethar, Theodora Wilbour Peckham, Carlton C. Brownell, and Philip B. Simond. Originally bought for 10 cents at an auction by Susan Allan Brownell and her mother Harriet Webb Sisson c.1840. Used as a plant stand c. 1860. Left to Mary Thomas of Grange Ave. who sold it to LCHS for $700.
